Fractured

Fractured - Teri Terry

"With what I did yesterday, I should be dead: zapped by the chip they put in my brain when I was Slated"

Kyla shouldn't remember anything from before she was Slated, but dark secrets of her past will not stay buried. Caught in a tug of war between Lorder oppression and the fight for freedom, her past and present race towards a collision she may not survive. While her desperate search for Ben continues, who can she trust in this world of secrets and lies?

A charismatic but dangerous figure from her past forces Kyla to choose her own path in this tense and gripping sequel to the highly praised Slated.

I really enjoyed reading this book, and couldn't put it down because it was so gripping.

My favourite character is Kyla, she never gives up and continues to figure out the things that she shouldn't remember. However she is very weak with keeping secrets and does what she is told, which is quiet annoying because you know what it can lead to but she doesn't. Also new characters come in that were from Kyla's past so it makes you see what kind of person she was before she was Slated and how much she changed.

This book was written beautifully and in my opinion was better than the first one.

I didn't particularly dislike anything about this book maybe the ending, this was only because I couldn't find out what happened next since I didn't have the last book.

Other than that everything in my opinion was great, the story, characters and writing was fantastic. I would recommend this to anyone who likes dystopian or mystery book because this book will blow your mind away.
